Q: Where can we install your tiles?
A: Our tiles are suitable for wall applications. We use white clay bodies and non toxic glazes.

Q: How can we get samples?
A: Please use the shopping cart in the "objects" page to purchase a sample tile to me mailed to you. We also have our sample tiles boards at select Daltile® showrooms.

Q: Can we purchase these tiles through a retailer?
A: Yes, we now offer our tiles through Daltile's showrooms and sales representatives.

Q: How does the custom service work?
A: You send us a picture or photograph by mail or e-mail.
We create a series of sample tiles according to your specifications.
Upon approval of the sample tile by you, we fabricate your tiles to your specifications and colors.

Q: What is the approximate fabrication time from start to finish for a typical custom order?
A: We can typically deliver a prototype tile within three to four weeks time for your review. Upon approval of the prototype, we begin production according to your specifications, a typical order will be delivered in 4 weeks time.

Q: How can I get a sample tile made?
A: We will create your prototype tile and produce 6 ceramic sample tiles with selected glazes. After that point you can place a production order for your project.

Q: How much does it cost?
A: Due to the custom nature of our product we quote each project individually, please contact us and we will be happy to work up a quote for you. In general our pricing starts at 30$/Sq Ft or $7.50 for a 6"x6" tile.

Q: What happens if some of the delivered tiles are chipped or damaged?
A: We take great care to sufficiently pack our orders, each tile is individually wrapped. We do ask our customers to inspect their order within 48 hours of receipt. We do recommend that our customers order at least 10% extra area for job coverage.

Q: How do you make these tiles?
A: We have developed a process called Photo-Cast® which is patent pending. All of our tiles are completely hand made, and we consider each one a work of art in itself.

Q: What kind of digital pictures can we send?
A: Pictures e-mailed to us in either jpeg, gif, or bitmap formats work best. You can also mail us images and we can convert them to a digital format.

Q: What are good images to use?
A: That's the really great part, just about anything. We can create tiles from photographs, graphic art, essentially any type of two dimensional image. If you e-mail us a sample, we would be happy to give you some guidance.

Q: What sizes are the tiles?
A: We are offering the ceramic tiles in a 4 1/4"x4 1/4",3"x5" and 6”x6” format. We also have a complete line of accent and liner tiles. Custom tiles can be fabricated to any aspect ratio you desire.

Q: Do you make floor tiles?
A: These tiles are currently available for wall mounted applications only.

Q: Do you offer other materials?
A: Yes, we have cast in glass and concrete. If you have a material in mind, please let us know.

Q: What about installation?
A: Our tiles can be installed using a cement mortar, dry-set, or latex-portland cement mortar. We produce our tiles with a nominal 1/4" thickness. We recommend a 3/16" grout spacing.

Q: Some of the tiles look a bit different?
A: Please remember that our tiles are hand made and you should expect a certain degree of variance of the tile form and glaze finish. We feel this adds to the character of the tile. We do inspect each tile that leaves our studio to adhere to our quality control standards.

Q: What about maintenance?
A: Remove soil with a broom, non-oily dust mop or vacuum. Periodically use a fiber or nylon scrubbing pad to assist in removing difficult stains. Do not use steel wool pads. Damp mop or spot clean as necessary, using a pH neutral tile cleaner. Thoroughly rinse all areas with clean, warm water. Allow to dry before putting the tile surface back to use.

Q: What are your tiles made from?
A: All glazes are cerified non-toxic, conforming to ASTM D-4236.
